Could Russia be deprived of another access to North American hockey? Like the Jeff Marek reported, the senior executives of the Canadian Hockey League will meet to determine whether they should ban Russian players from their European draft.
Some rumors are circulating that the league may indeed ban all players from Russia, although nothing has been decided yet. It would be a real bomb in junior hockey, because many teams would like to draft these players.

The whole thing could also apply to players from Belarus.
