Signing alert within the Montreal Canadiens organization: It has just been announced that forward Nicolas Guay is returning to the Lions
In the final minutes, we have had a signing within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Hometown forward Nicolas Guay has just signed a one-year contract extension with the Trois-Rivières Lions!
"And yes! Nicolas Guay will be back with the Lions for the 2023-2024 season!
He, who played every game last season, is determined to continue his offensive success and contribute to the success of Pascal Rhéaume's squad!" - Trois-Rivières Lions
Guay, 24 years old, is a 6-foot, 185-pound forward.
He played 16 games in the AHL and 72 games with the Lions, tallying 12 goals and 47 points.
He was notably the only player on the team to play in every game last season for the Lions, as reported by my colleague Cédrick Gervais.
