The first overall pick in the last draft, Juraj Slafkovsky has six points, including four goals in 18 games this season. Nicolas Cloutier, a reporter for TVA Sports, compares the Slovakian's NHL debut to that of Andrei Svechnikov.
The CH forward is headed for an 18-goal season in 82 games. So far this season, Slafkovsky has been limited to an average of 11:06 minutes of playing time. However, he can be expected to produce a bit more if he continues to play like he did against the Calgary Flames.
In his rookie season, the Hurricanes forward had 37 points, including 20 goals in 82 games. The following year, the player broke out with 61 points, including 24 goals in just 68 games.
