In the last few minutes on TVA Sports, journalist Renaud Lavoie agreed to get involved with the famous Cole Caufield contract.
"Defensively, you could say he's playing worse than some players. I can't wait to see, but yes it will be around 8 million (per year) most certainly." - Renaud Lavoie
So that gives a good idea of the possible final cap hit, especially knowing that Lavoie knows Caufield's agent, Pat Brisson, well.
