In the last few seconds, we found that forward Rem Pitlick was mysteriously absent from his team's morning practice today.
We now know why:
"Rem Pitlick will not participate in today's practice, in an effort to be waived at 2pm." - Montreal Canadiens
So he's the one to bail out some of the injured players. Mike Hoffman, Evgenii Dadonov and Jonathan Drouin were therefore spared, for the moment.
