The Canadiens have just made an expected move concerning Jeff Petry and it's confirmed
There was a lot of talk about this earlier this week on social media, and many of you asked us questions about the subject, but as Max Truman reports, it has now been corrected.
Jeff Petry no longer has his "A" for assistant captain on the official website of the Montreal Canadiens.
"The Montreal Canadiens have removed the "A" that was next to Petry's name on their official website." - Truman
That settles the matter.
It confirms that, no, Petry will not necessarily be an assistant to captain Nick Suzuki even if he plays with the Habs this season.
Which player do you think deserves this nomination?
More details to follow.
