Today has been an extremely busy day for news and developments with the Montreal Canadiens.

The Habs announced the end of the season for three players and one call-up.

Cayden Primeau will play tomorrow, while Alex Belzile, Sean Monahan, and Juraj Slafkovsky will not play again this season.

Another Season Over

We just learned that another player's season is over and, unfortunately, it is the least surprising announcement of the day.

We have not had any communication about this throughout the year, but the Canadiens just announced that Paul Byron's season is over.

He will be a free agent this summer, without a contract, and sadly, his playing career could be over.

However, this could mark the beginning of a new chapter for Byron, who has been very involved with Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton throughout the year.

He seems to have a future in an NHL team's front office, and maybe even with the Canadiens.

Would you like the Habs to offer Byron a job this summer?

In 521 career games with the Sabres, Flames, and Canadiens, Byron has collected 208 points.
