We told you about it earlier today, a video went viral following yesterday's Rangers-Lightning duel, when a Rangers fan made an extremely disgraceful gesture:
The offender was finally arrested and, according to the news we have, the victims are doing well. Thankfully!
In the last few minutes, the Rangers and Madison Square Garden officials issued a hard-hitting official statement:
"Last night, an assault occurred on a Lightning fan after the game - followed by a second assault on an individual who bravely responded.
First, we assure you that the victims received the appropriate care and support from our team. Also, we are cooperating fully with the authorities, as this is a criminal matter. Please also note that the assailant will be banned for life from Madison Square Garden, for any event, for the rest of his life.
Any guest, regardless of the team they support, should feel safe at the Garden. This is, and always will be, our policy."
Boom! Great decision!
