Two former Canadiens players labeled as not good' and very bad people' according to Pierre Gervais
A specific page from the excellent book by Pierre Gervais, which we highly recommend you read in full, is currently making the rounds on the web.
It's an interesting passage in which Gervais talks about the horrible act constantly committed by a former Habs player, a player for whom a young talented defenseman was sacrificed to acquire.
The details are here.
There's also the following passage which is intriguing and quite juicy.
« This player falls into the category of a few not good ones that I have come across over the decades. But he couldn't reach the level of a Cammalleri or a Niinimaa. He wasn't very nice, but he still treated us with respect. » - Book by Pierre Gervais
Wow. Let's just say that says a lot about the attitude of these two former CH players.
Cammalleri was eventually sent to the Calgary Flames, in January 2012, in exchange for Rene Bourque and a 2nd round pick, among others.
As for Janne Niinimaa, he only played 41 games in his career with the Canadiens (he scored a mere 3 points) and then went to play in Europe.
For Gervais to specifically target him, he must have been incredibly unpleasant.
