"The Canadiens will want to recall another defenseman before the trip to the West in case of injuries, and to make room, Primeau might be put on waivers.
Ideally, when you leave (long distance), you'd like to have all the extras you can take with you. In an ideal world, they would want Primeau gone by Sunday."

Today, there's an update!
Canadiens' announcement involving Guhle and Dvorak
We just learned some great news. Kaiden Guhle and Christian Dvorak will travel with the team on Sunday!
This means that the Canadiens apparently won't need to make a call-up for next week's trip. (and they probably won't need to put Cayden Primeau on waivers on Sunday)
Precious time has been gained here, thanks to Guhle's imminent return!
