We have just learned that Jeff Petry's wish is about to be granted
We have just learned an important news concerning the defenseman Jeff Petry. After Carey Price earlier today :
Now, head coach Martin St-Louis has announced another possible big news regarding his defenseman Petry: there is a good chance that the veteran defenseman's wish will be granted, eventually.
While many thought his season was over and that he should return to Detroit to be with his family, Petry decided instead to persevere and wanted to return to the game.
Finally, he would be on the verge of getting the green light from the doctors:
There would even be a good chance to see the number 26 in the lineup Saturday night, against the Maple Leafs. Nothing confirmed, but it's a possibility.
If confirmed, it would be a great opportunity for him to increase his value on the trade market (if he still wants to be traded this summer).
It will also have a big impact on the Tricolore's roster, as Justin Barron, Jordan Harris, Corey Schueneman and Chris Wideman will be dealt. Martin St-Louis will have some big decisions to make and won't be able to dress everyone.
