We just learned when Logan Mailloux would be back with the Montreal Canadiens
A big piece of news dropped in the last few hours about the Montreal Canadiens. The organization announced that young Logan Mailloux has been cut and will be joining the Laval Rocket.
The decision has garnered a lot of reactions. It's probably the best move for Mailloux's future, but many fans are disappointed because he's a pleasure to watch on the ice.
One thing's for sure, we're already excited to see him again!
And speaking of that, here's what Grant McCagg, a former scout for the Montreal Canadiens, just said:
"No surprise here. Mailloux will play more than 25 minutes per game in Laval most nights, and if the Canadiens are out of the playoff race by March and trades David Savard/Gustav Lindstrom, expect him to be called up." Interesting! So, we might see Mailloux back with the Montreal Canadiens in March to finish the season.
Another intriguing part of this statement, McCagg seems convinced here that Lindstrom will be a regular for the Habs.
Stay tuned!
