St-Germain noted that the Canadiens sold a package actually called "the ultimate experience."
On such occasions, fans could be treated like royalty during a game night, which included a moment where people could take photos with the players.
One evening, the former seller asked Subban to take a photo, a matter of 15 seconds, but the former Canadiens defenseman said he had visitors to see and returned about an hour later.
When it came time to take the photo, upon St-Germain's insistence, Subban asked:
This remark distances him from the player said to be very close to his fans and for whom spending time in their company seemed to be a priority.
Subsequently, St-Germain mentioned he was embarrassed by the situation because fans who paid for this ultimate experience had to shell out no less than $2,000 each!
At that price, one would expect to get their money's worth.
Furthermore, the former CH employee confirmed that nearly everyone within the organization was very pleased when P.K. Subban was traded to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Shea Weber in the summer of 2016.
It's sad, but that's the way it is...
It would be surprising if this story were linked to the trade, but the guest mentioned that Subban was so dedicated to his foundation that he sometimes forgot his employer was actually the Montreal Canadiens.
