During the summer, an intriguing rumor circulated about the young defender Arber Xhekaj of the Montreal Canadiens.

A rumor that he had received advice from a few well-known names, to be even better when he drops the gloves.

Well, the Sheriff just confirmed it all.

Xhekaj, constantly progressing in every aspect of his game!

Since joining the team, Arber Xhekaj has been a fan favorite. Whether it's for his fervor on the ice, his pugilistic skills, his incredible story, or simply for the man he is, fans adore him.

The young defender has not only impressed the team's fans but also many analysts and even former NHL players, including Georges Laraque. The latter even admitted to having helped him with the pugilistic aspect of his game.

Saturday night, during his appearance on the show L'Antichambre, Xhekaj not only confessed to having received advice from Laraque but also from P.J. Stock and Chris Nilan.

It's great to see former NHL players helping the young ones so they can avoid the worst as much as possible during a fight. Xhekaj also mentioned the contributions of Josh Anderson and Michael Pezzetta, who have also greatly helped him since his arrival in the NHL.

It's certain that the experience gained from all these former and current players will greatly help the young man. Knowing his story, it wouldn't be surprising to see Xhekaj do the same in the future with new players!
