Breakup: Montreal Canadiens forward's longtime partner leaves him

A player from the Montreal Canadiens has unfortunately just announced his breakup with his partner.

In an interview on the Cam and Strick podcast, forward Michael Pezzetta
made a rather unexpected and sad revelation about his personal life.

«It must be nice to play in Montreal at your age, man... You're young, you're social, everyone wants to talk to you, you can have fun, you're single, it must be so entertaining!»

We had no idea that Pezzetta was single.

Last we heard, he was in a relationship with Quebec influencer Mireille Boutin, who has nearly 50,000 followers on social media, but Pezzetta did not deny the American host's statement.

«Yeah, well since I've been with Montreal, I had a partner... So we'll see how it goes next season (with a big smile), but yeah, Montreal is a really fun city. [...]»
