A journalist from the Colorado Avalanche, Adrian Dater, has just announced very sad news for the large Montreal Canadiens family.
As my colleague Keven Mawn also reports, former video coach and former employee of the Montreal Canadiens, Scott Masters, has reportedly passed away.
What sad news. He was only 46 years old.
Masters was a model employee in the NHL, a recognized video coach, notably for the Colorado Avalanche, and he was also a scout for the Montreal Canadiens.

"RIP to former Avs video coach Scott Masters. Scott also worked in the Florida, St. Louis and Montreal organizations.»
- Adrian Dater
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to Scott Masters' loved ones. It must be a terrible ordeal for them, especially at such a young age.
Masters held various roles for the Montreal Canadiens for nearly 7 years! (from 2013 to 2019)
He also worked as a video coach for the Florida Panthers, the St. Louis Blues, and the Colorado Avalanche between 2001 and 2013.
Details to follow.
