Canadiens Coach Martin St-Louis Is Stepping Away From the Canadiens for Awhile
In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization released an unexpectedly official statement.
Head coach, Martin St-Louis, will not be behind the bench for his team tonight against the Calgary Flames.
"CALGARY The Canadiens announced on Saturday that head coach Martin St-Louis will be taking an indefinite leave of absence for family reasons. Assistant coach Trevor Letowski will lead the team during his absence." - Montreal Canadiens
He will be absent for an indefinite period, so it's probably serious... Our thoughts are with the St-Louis family and Martin.
The Canadiens face off against the Calgary Flames tonight at 7pm EST where they will kick off their western trip.
