Canadiens Insider Believes Logan Mailloux Will Finish the Season in the NHL
We talked to you earlier about the latest episode of the Stanley25 podcast, in which JT Utah made a very intriguing statement about Logan Mailloux, but there's also Max Truman who had a scoop about the young player.
The one who is already one of the best offensive defenders in the entire American Hockey League and who has experienced rapid progression, Logan Mailloux, will officially be with the Montreal Canadiens by the end of the season.
You read that right!
Scoop revealed by Max Truman: Logan Mailloux will be called up by the major league team by the end of the 2023-2024 season
Indeed, according to his information, it's going to happen:
"According to what I was told, by the end of the season, Logan, if there's no injury or problems with the recall limits, will come play in Montreal. It's not a 'he should' or 'maybe', he will come play with the Canadiens." - Maxime Truman
Excellent news, and we can't wait to see it!
So it's just a matter of time before the CH's 1st round pick in 2021 makes his NHL debut.
Mailloux, who had the opportunity to participate in the AHL All-Star Game, currently ranks fifth among defensemen in the league in scoring (six points behind the leader even though he is much younger).
The 20-year-old right-handed defender has accumulated 38 points (13 goals) in 58 games this season with the Laval Rocket as well as 79 penalty minutes.
We will have action at the end of this season, dear fans, with the likely arrivals of Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux, and Kirby Dach, not to mention Adam Engstrom and David Reinbacher who are going to land in Quebec.
It promises, and the time for decisions is approaching!
