Canadiens Make Two Announcements and Reveal Dach's Status Ahead of Tonight's Game
We have an update on the Montreal Canadiens ahead of tonight's game against Marc-André Fleury and the Minnesota Wild.
First, the Canadiens have announced that, unlike the past few game days, there will be a morning skate today.
This morning skate is scheduled for 10:30 AM.
«The Canadiens will have a morning skate at 10:30 AM at the Bell Centre before tonight's game against the Wild.»
- Priyanta Emrith
It is also worth mentioning that, on the home side, young Jakub Dobes will be in net.
The Canadiens announce a morning skate, a press conference, and confirm Kirby Dach's status
We mentioned this yesterday, but Kirby Dach scared a lot of people with a nasty fall right at the end of the game against the Winnipeg Jets.
There were concerns about whether Dach was injured.
Well, in the end, the organization has confirmed that Dach will indeed be in the lineup tonight, so we can honestly say here, "more fear than harm."
This is great news, and it feels good after what we learned about defenseman Kaiden Guhle in the past few hours.
If Dach is 100%, it certainly doesn't seem to be the case for Josh Anderson, who missed yesterday's practice to receive treatment, so we will be monitoring his condition in the coming hours.
If he has to sit out tonight, we expect Rafaël Harvey-Pinard to be inserted into the lineup.
All the details will be shared at the Montreal Canadiens' press conference, scheduled for around 11:00 AM.
«The Canadiens will hit the ice for a morning skate on Thursday at 10:30 AM.
Subscribe or follow the team on YouTube, Facebook, and X to watch Martin St-Louis' pre-game press conference and the players' media availability around 11:00 AM.
Additionally, stay tuned to our platforms to stay informed of any changes to the lineup.»
- Montreal Canadiens
We will keep you updated on any developments.
