We knew that forwards Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki held a press briefing in the last few hours, and that they answered journalists' questions live from the 2024 President's Cup, but we didn't have the details.
The press conference had not been released by the Montreal Canadiens, even though some journalists were circulating quotes from Caufield and Suzuki.
In short, the Canadiens have just published the details.
You can listen to their press conference here:
Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield notably talked about stability, continuity, and even discussed the playoffs! It feels like the players want to try to surprise everyone and qualify for the spring dance as early as 2025.
The two Habs forwards also mentioned that they were really happy to hear about the signings of Arber Xhekaj, Justin Barron, and Kaiden Guhle, and they confirmed that they are extremely excited about the eventual arrival of Ivan Demidov in the lineup.
Fans are very happy with the selection of Demidov, but clearly, the players are just as excited and we love it!
It's slowly starting to feel like hockey, and speaking of golf tournaments, we're already really looking forward to the Montreal Canadiens' tournament.
Details will follow.
