Former Oilers Coach Jay Woodcroft Linked to Montreal Canadiens' Coaching Staff, Per TFP

There's more and more smoke in this file, and it's clear that Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens are looking to make a hire behind the bench.

Martin St-Louis needs reinforcements, and it looks like that help will arrive sooner rather than later.

In the last few minutes, as the excellent Charles-Alexis Brisebois (DLC) also highlighted, Jay Woodcroft's name was mentioned by TFP and linked to the Habs.

Will he be the next hire for the Habs behind the bench?

In any case, everything indicates that the organization is seriously working on replacing Alex Burrows, who left his position in recent months, and a few names have been raised, including Woodcroft.

As Calabretta mentions, Woodcroft has been linked to the Habs, but Jim Montgomery and Gerard Gallant have also been mentioned.

It's interesting to see Gallant's name resurface after what happened yesterday:
