The Canadiens prospect was back on SKA's third line this Tuesday, playing alongside former NHLer Evgeny Kuznetsov.
He wasted no time making an impact, scoring a beautiful goal with less than five minutes played in the game.
This was already the Russian forward's 5th goal in the KHL this season. That's impressive for an 18-year-old who hasn't been getting the ice time he deserves since the start of the campaign.
While the goal was stunning, his reaction was just as remarkable. He raised his arms while keeping a game face, almost as if he was sending a message to his coach...
We can't wait to see him in a Bleu-Blanc-Rouge jersey alongside Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, Lane Hutson, Juraj Slafkovsky and others.
Evgeny Kuznetsov, 32 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 207-pound forward. He was the 26th overall pick by the Washington Capitals in 2010 (first round) and has accumulated 575 points in 743 career NHL games.
He recorded 24 points last season, playing with the Caps and the Carolina Hurricanes.
Ivan Demidov, 18 years old, is a 6-foot, 167-pound forward. He was the 5th overall pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2024 (first round).
Let's hope he's here to stay this time!
