At the time, a Canadiens fan was in the terminal phase of illness, and despite the strict rules imposed by the government, Anderson chose to go meet him.
His family had shared this story but had specified that they did not want the details to be made public at the time.
Anderson did it 100% for the right reasons. He wasn't looking for recognition in the press or on social media.
He simply made a beautiful gesture, discreetly, without anyone knowing, out of pure humanity.

Three weeks later, the fan sent me a photo of himself with Anderson.
We couldn't share the photo due to restrictions, but Josh Anderson still went to take the picture with the fan even with all the team restrictions set in place.
