Journalist is already suggesting a possible trade by Kent Hughes due to Patrik Laine's injury
Following the injury suffered by Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine, journalist Anthony Marcotte has raised the possibility of a trade.
Considering that the final diagnosis for Laine is unfortunately unlikely to be positive, Marcotte (BPM Sports) is already contemplating alternatives.
If Laine is out for the season, Kent Hughes will have no choice but to react "to stay in the mix," in my opinion. There's a gaping hole on the wing in one of the top three lines.
The Canadiens have the assets in terms of prospects and draft picks to make a trade while working with the long-term injured reserve list.
