Major reinforcement is joining the Canadiens lineup for tonight's game
Over the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced changes against the Florida Panthers.
Martin St-Louis has made his decisions for tonight's game.
"Montembeault and Guhle will face the Panthers tonight. Kovacevic will sit this one out." - Canadiens de Montréal
Despite the fact that the Molson Cup will be awarded to Cayden Primeau tonight, it will still be Samuel Montembeault who starts in goal.
This took many observers by surprise and was rather unexpected, but Martin St-Louis is not swayed by external factors, and ultimately, that's a good thing.
Kaiden Guhle, for his part, has finished serving his one-game suspension, so he will obviously be back in the lineup. He takes the place of Johnatan Kovacevic.

During his pregame press conference, head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that Samuel Montembeault and Kaiden Guhle will be in the lineup against Florida. Guhle served a one-game suspension for slashing Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny last Thursday. Johnathan Kovacevic will be a healthy scratch.
