We have some news from the Montreal Canadiens following head coach Martin St-Louis' press conference earlier today. It was certainly a hectic start to the day for the Habs, as no fewer than four players were missing this morning.

Josh Anderson and David Savard were absent to receive treatment, Kirby Dach was out due to an injury, and Brendan Gallagher was absent for personal reasons.

The four absentees could miss tomorrow's game, confirms Martin St-Louis

Here's what he mentioned during the press conference.

"Kirby Dach will not play tomorrow, confirms Martin St-Louis.

As for Savard, Anderson, and Gallagher, we'll reassess tomorrow before the game against the Hurricanes."

- Anthony Marcotte, BPM Sports

Dach is therefore officially "OUT," while the other three remain questionable.

This clearly explains the real reason behind Owen Beck's call-up earlier this morning.

It was more than necessary.

We'll continue to monitor these situations for you.

Let's not forget that Martin St-Louis' squad will be hosting Jesperi Kotkaniemi and the Carolina Hurricanes tomorrow night, starting at 7:00 PM live from the Bell Centre.

If four players do end up missing the game, that will leave four holes to fill in the lineup.

Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton could have a lot of work ahead of them in the coming hours in terms of call-ups from the Laval Rocket.

And that's not even counting the latest buzz surrounding goaltender Cayden Primeau.

To be continued!

Rest assured, we'll be the first to update you on any developments regarding the cases mentioned above.
