Martin St-Louis' son, Lucas St-Louis, just dropped the gloves against one of the top prospects for the 2024 NHL draft.

Here's a great find by my colleague Nicolas Desrosiers.

It's quite ironic, but the son of the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens actually just fought a player who could seriously be targeted by Kent Hughes with the Winnipeg Jets' first-round pick.

A potential target of the Canadiens and Kent Hughes in the next draft, Sacha Boisvert, dropped the gloves with Martin St-Louis' son

You can guess that comments and reactions spiraled on social media, while some now suggest that the CH will not select Boisvert in the first round.

Yes, it's a funny situation, to see Boisvert fight the son of his possible future head coach, but it will obviously have absolutely no impact on the Tricolore's selection at the end of the first round.

Boisvert is ranked between the 15th and 25th positions according to different experts and is very promising.

Here are the images:

Boisvert, 18 years old, 6 feet 2 inches and 179 pounds, is a talented and offensive center born in Trois-Rivières. He has accumulated 36 goals and 68 points in 61 games this season. He will join the team at the University of North Dakota next year, a strong NCAA Hockey program.

St-Louis, 19 years old, 5 feet 10 inches and 175 pounds, is a defenseman born in Connecticut. He has racked up a solid 29 points in 43 games this season in the USHL, including 15 goals.
