In the last few seconds, the Habs' affiliate announced the signing of defenseman Zack Hayes.
So, this is a player who will be at the famous training camp next September and is likely to start the 2024-25 season with the Laval Rocket.

So, it is indeed a two-way contract.
Zack Hayes, 25, is from Calgary, Alberta, and is a left-shot defenseman standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 219 pounds.
He played with the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL during the 2021-22 season and has three seasons of experience in the American Hockey League.
Hayes has also played nearly 300 games in the WHL, all with the Prince Albert Raiders.
