Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine just gave an update to the fans regarding his knee injury.

While his partner announced some great news in the past few hours...

Now it was Patrik Laine's turn to make a small post, where he mentioned that his knee is still hurting.

We sometimes forget, but this once again shows how much Laine was eager to play for the Montreal Canadiens this season.

It would have been easy for him to simply opt for surgery and move on, but no, he wants to return to the game as soon as possible, and he's ready to do the necessary work (and endure the pain) that comes with a major «natural» rehabilitation.

Check out what he just posted on Instagram.

Several Canadiens players commented on his post, including Cole Caufield, Jayden Struble, and Alex Newhook.

It's always nice to hear from him.

Let's not forget that Patrik Laine suffered a major knee injury during a pre-season game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and he has a long 2-3 month rehabilitation to go through before attempting a comeback.

We could see him back in action in December or January, for the Montreal Canadiens and probably alongside Kirby Dach.

Let's hope it becomes less painful for him as soon as possible.
