On her personal page, Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine's fiancée, Jordan Leigh, announced some exciting news.

The young couple has officially settled in, and they moved into their new home in the past few hours.

We're really happy for them, and it seems like they'll be here for quite a while, if not for many years.

Laine's girlfriend has already started learning French, can you believe it? She seems to have truly fallen in love with Quebec.

A new home for Patrik Laine and his fiancée

What wonderful news!

The couple had been living in an Airbnb in Montreal since the trade made in August between the Canadiens and the Columbus Blue Jackets, but now they'll have their own home.

«Moving into our Montreal home today! So excited to officially be settled!»

It's worth mentioning that Laine will have to wait another two months before playing his first regular season game with the Montreal Canadiens (due to a lower-body injury), but he'll already feel at home.

Laine, who suffered a left knee sprain during a preseason game against the Maple Leafs should be ready to start his season in December or January.

He now has his own home.

Laine, a second overall pick by the Winnipeg Jets in 2016, has racked up 388 points in 480 career NHL games (204 goals), and he's signed through 2026 at $8.7 million per year.

We're so excited to see what the future holds for him in Montreal. One thing's for sure, he seems really motivated to make it work here.

We love this player.
