Live from Mont-Tremblant in the past few minutes, Montreal Canadiens' forward Patrik Laine held a press conference.

The Finnish forward first mentioned that it was his own decision not to undergo surgery, as he was visibly extremely determined to return to play as quickly as possible, no matter the cost.

As for his potential return to play, it seems he has big ambitions.

He will work "day by day" to measure his progress, so he sees big things ahead.

He added that he hopes and will work extremely hard to return to play as soon as possible to help his team win games.
