We were treated to some great footage directly from the ice, just seconds after the game against the St. Louis Blues.
The players saved a special «spot» for Juraj Slafkovsky during their post-game celebration, which speaks volumes about the team chemistry.
Then, the celebration continued in the team's locker room, where we caught a glimpse of some familiar faces, including Patrik Laine, and the atmosphere was obviously fantastic.
Check out the footage, including a short speech from Kirby Dach, who had (by far) his best game of the season last night.
Kirby Dach finished last night's game with two points (one goal and one assist), four shots on goal, and three hits in just over 15 minutes of ice time.
Let's hope this great energy carries over to Philadelphia tonight, where Martin St. Louis' squad will face John Tortorella, Matvei Michkov, and the Flyers on the road.
The young Cayden Primeau will be in net for the Canadiens.
If a young player like Dach can truly break out and kickstart his season, it would make a huge difference for the Montreal Canadiens.
More details to follow.
A quick note to end on about forward Patrik Laine, who was spotted last night without his brace, which is obviously great news as he works toward his eventual return to the ice.
His return to full health would also be huge for the success of the Canadiens.
