There was indeed a special guest live at the Montreal Canadiens' practice in Vancouver.

In addition to Joshua Roy, who was obviously recalled from the Laval Rocket earlier today, none other than Carey Price was present in the stands in Vancouver!

See the images.

It's worth noting that Carey Price still lives relatively close to Vancouver (he resides in Kelowna), which is about 350 kilometers from the Canucks' arena.

So, it's not exactly nearby, which makes it even more commendable that he made the effort to travel for the Canadiens' practice today.

It's always such a great sight to see!

Carey Price and Joshua Roy at the Montreal Canadiens' practice today

One would assume that both will be present at tomorrow's game, one on the ice and the other either in the stands or in Kent Hughes' suite!

I'll let you guess which is which.

Carey Price, 37, is considered by many to be one of the three best goaltenders in Montreal Canadiens history.

In 712 career games, he posted a goals-against average of 2.51 and a save percentage of .917.

As for his record, he has 361 wins, 261 losses, and 79 overtime losses (49 shutouts).

It looks like he will be around the Canadiens for the next few days.

The matchup between the Canadiens and the Canucks is scheduled for 10 PM (Eastern Time) tomorrow, live from Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Do you think the Canadiens should retire Carey Price's number 31 jersey?
