Worrying Scene as Justin Barron Collides with Patrik Laine's Knee During Practice
We witnessed a Worrying scene live from Montreal Canadiens' practice.
As reported by several sources, Justin Barron indeed made contact with Patrik Laine's right knee.
You can imagine that it frightened everyone in attendance, and people are wondering how Barron ended up in a position where he made direct contact with Laine's knee, but well.
A troubling scene involving Patrik Laine
The good news is that it seems to have been just that a scare.
«Patrik Laine collided with Justin Barron. Contact to his right knee, he returned to the bench for a few minutes.
It seems to be just a small scare since he jumped back on the ice.»
- Yanick Lévesque
It still remains something to watch, especially knowing that he had to return to the bench for a few minutes.
We don't have many details at the moment, but everything indicates that Laine is fine and that it won't delay his return to play too much.
Let's remember that the Finnish forward suffered a left knee sprain during a preseason game in September against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it seems he's only a few days away from returning to action.
He is currently on the road with the team.
Details to follow.
