Wow: The Canadiens have just announced another big change ahead of tonight's game vs the Penguins
Earlier today, the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, told the media that there would be no changes made to his lineup tonight, except in goal. (Cayden Primeau replaces Samuel Montembeault)
However, that was before Kent Hughes claimed Colin White off NHL waivers.
White will ultimately play tonight against the team that just placed him on waivers!
The organization has just confirmed the news! Wow, what a story!
"Colin White will make his debut with the Canadiens tonight in Pittsburgh." - Montreal Canadiens
We love it.
"Colin White was playing for the Penguins.
The Habs just claimed him and they are playing against.. the Penguins, tonight.
So White will almost literally change locker rooms before the game. It's legendary." - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
Imagine if he scores tonight! White has no goals this season, it would be special for him to score against the team that waived him!
He will take the place of Brandon Gignac, who in turn was sent to waivers in order to lend a hand to the Laval Rocket!
