In the last few minutes, and through journalist Andy Slater, the video of Andrew Brunette's arrest has started circulating on the web.

It should be remembered that during the All-Star break, while NHL activities were on hold, Brunette was arrested for allegedly being drunk driving his golf cart.

He was eventually released after a short detention.

Today, the video of the arrest of the New Jersey Devils assistant coach is causing a stir.

What we see in the video

First, we see him driving a small golf cart late at night in a residential area.

Then, he runs a stop sign and that's when the police get involved.

Brunette seemed intoxicated and claimed that it was his wife who was driving, even though he was clearly sitting in the driver's seat.

Yeah, right.

He didn't have his driver's license on him and so he gave his wife's license to the officers "as a substitute".

The officers asked Brunette to take tests to assess whether he was fit to drive, but he refused and went to the golf cart, saying he would call his lawyer.

The officers then arrested him, asking him to put his hands on his head.

He then told the officers they would regret it and mentioned that he was a head coach in the National Hockey League, which really didn't impress the officer.
