Crazy scene went down during Islanders practice and it involves Patrick Roy and his players

Over the last few minutes, we've witnessed a peculiar scene live from the New York Islanders' practice.

It's very rare to see this nowadays, in 2024, but it took a Patrick Roy to make a change.

While his Islanders haven't been playing well for a few games, Patrick severely punished his players today.

Patrick Roy gives us a scene worthy of the movie Miracle on Ice

The Islanders' players were subjected to an extremely intense punitive training, and they were (according to media on-site) completely exhausted afterward.

Out of breath and completely drained, some players even had to cancel their post-training press conferences.

"Roy said he doesn't like to put a team through the practice he did today, but said they needed to work on their fundamentals and compete and thought it will only make them better going forward.

Said it was the right time to do it.

Also, feel like I'm watching Miracle. Roy hasn't yelled at Desrosiers yet to blow his whistle...again.

But these guys are gassed and are being heavily pushed to the max today.
