It looks like the Toronto Maple Leafs aren't going to end up with Patrick Kane after all.
Using his full no-move clause, Kane can choose where he goes next. All sources indicate that is Manhattan.
Kane Talks Heating up in New York
Kane and the Rangers have been tied together for years. When the Rangers went out and acquired Vladimir Tarasenko, it appeared Kane's dream of playing for his favourite team died. However, it now appears there is a rejuvenated effort to make a deal happen.
Per Larry Brooks of The New York Post, talks were very advanced, and it's hard to imagine there isn't some sort of framework for a deal.
If Chris Drury can pull this off, and Patrick Kane can continue his incredible recent momentum, there might just be a Rangers Stanley Cup in the midst.
