Last-minute announcement from the Ottawa Sens and it directly concerns Patrick Roy
In a press conference in the last few moments, the general manager of the Ottawa Senators, Pierre Dorion, just made this announcement.
Ottawa's general manager, Pierre Dorion, announced that coach DJ Smith and his staff would officially return next season.

With DJ Smith's return as head coach of the Ottawa Sens now confirmed, it means Patrick Roy will have to (again) wait before making his grand return to the NHL.
It really seemed to be on the right track for Ottawa and Roy, but no.
Another disappointment for Roy, surely. Details to follow.
