John Tortorella sends a clear message that there will be no Michkov show this season
The colorful head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers, John Tortorella, made an extremely clear statement about his young forward, Matvei Michkov.
He quickly shut down any expectations from those hoping for a Michkov show in Philly this season.
John Tortorella on Matvei Michkov:
"I like players with personality. He's talented, you can see that. I'm the one who's going to control the buzz because he's 19. You won't see him every day. You're not going to see him every day.
There won't be a Mich-Show this season."
So, there will be no Matvei Michkov show this season, and head coach Tortorella is going to make sure of that personally.

This will be a really interesting story to follow throughout the season in Philadelphia, and it will be crucial for the future of the organization.
If Tortorella and Michkov get on the same page, it will be huge for Daniel Brière and his squad.

He finished that game with 2 points.

Matvei Michkov, 19 years old, recorded 41 points in 47 games last season in the KHL. He was the 7th overall pick by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023, selected two spots behind a certain David Reinbacher.
