Leafs Mitch Marner has recently been seen living it up during the off-season and recent photos of him wake-boarding have caused a major uproar among fans.

It appears there's never a dull moment anymore this off-season regarding Mitch Marner, as he has been trending online once again for all the wrong reasons. His wife Stephanie recently posted a photo of him on a Sea-Doo, really living it up, and now fans have seen enough and are reacting online, especially after other wake-boarding pictures also began to surface.

"Wonder if he rides around the perimeter of the lake too," commented one user, referencing Marner's preference to play on the outside during the playoffs when checking is much tighter.

"Sure looks like a guy working hard for next season," commented another user on Domi's workout montage post.

Another Maple Leafs player Max Domi was recently spotted training very hard as he is trying to get into good shape for the start of the season, so many fans were hoping Mitch Marner would have been doing the same. To their surprise, they saw him Sea-Dooing and wake-boarding instead, literally partying it up, which is really upsetting the fans as they want the team to make a deep run next season. Mitch Marner is expected to make $10.9 million next season and will be an unrestricted free agent (UFA) next summer, whereas Max Domi is only going to make $3.75 million.

Mitch Marner has just one final year remaining on his contract and he needs a huge season if he wants to collect a big long-term pay cheque. Training camps are beginning in roughly one month and slowly but surely, players will be flocking back to Toronto to get ready for a big season ahead.

Mitch Marner did have a big season last year, as he suited up in 69 games for the Maple Leafs, scoring 26 goals and 85 points. The playoffs were a completely different story for him however, as he has been known to disappear when the games matter most, and that appears to be what happened last season again, where he only put up three points in his team's seven postseason games.
