Marchand takes one last shot at the Leafs in post game interview
Last night the Toronto Maple Leafs fell to the Boston Bruins in overtime. After pulling out the win and heading to the second round Bruins captain Brad Marchand decided to troll the Maple Leafs and their fans with his comments.
The Toronto Maple Leafs were eliminated last night by the thinnest of margins. A lack of effort on the back check from Mitch Marner gave Bruins forward David Pastrnak just enough space to go in and score the clinching goal.

After the game, several players were interviewed from the winning Boston Bruins squad. One of those players was captain Brad Marchand who trolled the Maple Leafs and their fans with his choice of words.
Fans immediately caught on to the subtle joke made by Brad Marchand and loved it. The reactions on X made it known that Brad Marchand torched the Maple Leafs and their fans with his clever words.
Now Brad Marchand and his Boston Bruins will be able to move on to the second round. In the second round, they will face the Florida Panthers who knocked them out of the playoffs last season after their historic regular season success.
