Enormous dramatic turn of events for Matvei Michkov and the fans can't believe it
Among the many red flags surrounding the situation of young Matvei Michkov, his three-season contract with SKA St. Petersburg seemed to scare several general managers who were afraid that the 18-year-old forward would stay in Russia at the end of his agreement.
Today we learned that there's been a significant development, and he might make his NHL debut sooner than anticipated.
In essence, Matvei Michkov and his translator announced that they will not be at the Flyers' prospects camp next week, but they absolutely plan to be present at the training camp next summer to, hold on tight, make the Flyers' lineup as early as the fall of 2024!
Matvei Michkov will make his NHL debut in one year!
