Last-minute official NHL statement involving the Montreal Canadiens' 5th overall pick
In the last few minutes, the official page of the National Hockey League has released a statement always anticipated year after year.
It is their official Mock Draft in anticipation of the draft. One can, of course, notably see which player is drafted by the Montreal Canadiens during the exercise.
Two NHL experts took part in the game, and both have different answers. This fits with the contradictory information that is circulating publicly and behind the scenes according to some privileged sources.
According to NHL expert Mike Morreale, the Habs will draft Ryan Leonard.
According to NHL expert Adam Kimelman, the Habs will draft Matvei Michkov.
