These days in Montreal, we're seeing numerous trade proposals involving the Canadiens circulate, and it's intense.
Some offers are realistic and feasible, others much less so.
But we can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone, and there are fans who go even further.
In the past few hours, a Toronto media outlet has launched the following trade proposal:
For entertainment purposes, in your opinion, which team would come out on top from such a transaction?
We have to admit, from the Leafs' side, this would give them a serious hand with their salary cap, but we highly doubt that the Blackhawks would consider this proposal. Anyway, it's not very realistic.
Matthews, 25 years old, is a 1st overall pick from 2016. He racked up 85 points (40 goals) in 74 matches this season. He makes 11.65 million dollars per season until 2024.
