According to sources from Daily Faceoff, the Canadiens spent yesterday deliberating over up to five distinct trade offers for the 5th pick.
Five offers coming from teams eager to significantly move up in the draft.
This is a possibility that could depend on how the draft unfolds and might wait until the San Jose Sharks' selection at the 4th rank.
In essence, Kent Hughes might wait to see if Will Smith or Leo Carlsson surprisingly slides to the 5th pick.
