Social media set on fire by possible leak of NHL draft lottery
When there's so much excitement surrounding an event, like the Macklin Celebrini lottery today, it doesn't take much to get people talking.
In the last few minutes, reporter John Buccigross, who is on-site, has posted a photo that is currently making the rounds on the web.
Here it is:
In the image in question, we see that San Jose would have won the 1st overall pick, Utah would have won the 2nd overall pick, and the Montreal Canadiens would have the 6th overall pick.
Macklin Celebrini would go to the Sharks, the brand new team from Utah would have the huge opportunity to move up and draft Ivan Demidov (a huge gift), while the Canadiens would move back one spot.

If you see this photo circulating, know that these are not the results.
Be assured.
It's surely a test for the graphics or something of that sort, but many fans actually believe Buccigross just revealed the results that will be announced tonight. (which is not the case)
It's causing quite a stir at the moment.
Admittedly, it would be extremely strange if this exact scenario happened at 6:30 PM today, but the probabilities are very slim. (and it would be mere coincidence)
Long live the 2024 lottery and eagerly awaiting the results!
