Injuries: Two more bad news for the Montreal Canadiens, including a major one

Unfortunately, there's a sense of déjà vu with the Montreal Canadiens as injuries are making headlines early in the season.

Following the very bad news about Kirby Dach yesterday, whose season may potentially be over already, here are two more updates.

"Forward Emil Heineman (upper body injury) will be sidelined indefinitely." - Laval Rocket

It's really unfortunate. Heineman, along with Joshua Roy, were those expected to be the first recalls for the Canadiens. He had a superb training camp, and it's certainly not ideal to see his development paused like this.

This seems significant.

"Bad news everywhere for the Habs!"

Additionally, there's defenseman David Reinbacher, the organization's first-round pick and fifth overall selection in 2023, who was injured in Switzerland.

In his case, it seems more promising, but it remains concerning due to the nature of the injury.

"EXCLUSIVE:

David Reinbacher just received his MRI results.

Good news: no fractures. However, he feels pain and will undergo physiotherapy treatments.

Currently, he's expected to be out for 1 to 3 weeks, depending on his progress."

Hopefully, the organization gets better injury news in the coming days/weeks, but it's safe to say the season isn't off to a great start.
