Last minute announcement from the Canadiens: good and bad news for the fans
In the last few seconds, the organization of the Montreal Canadiens made a big update.
This concerns some injured players and there are significant developments.
See Marc Antoine Godin's report:
"Regarding the Canadiens' injured players: Gallagher no longer has his protective boot on his foot, Guhle and Barron are still day-to-day (we can assume that Barron had a concussion), Caufield no longer has his arm in a sling, but Xhekaj had surgery last Wednesday on his right shoulder."
In Gallagher's case, it had been a long time since we had any official news, but here is some good news. Well, there is no mention of his new estimated return date to play, but it's better than nothing.
As for Guhle and Barron, there is still no progress.
Finally, as we mentioned this morning, Cole Caufield no longer has his arm in a sling, as opposed to Arber Xhekaj, who has just had surgery on his right shoulder.
His season is over, and we are already looking forward to seeing him next year.
So, that was the organization's update. As you can see, we still have no news about Sean Monahan (which is bad news).
