The verdict is in for Kaiden Guhle and Justin Barron: a big surprise today
In the last few seconds, the verdict has been delivered for Kaiden Guhle and Justin Barron.
Both defensemen have been injured for a few days, but following the demotion of Fred Allard to the AHL (announced yesterday), we believed that it meant that one of the two would be able to return to play.
It turns out that's not the case.
"Justin Barron and Kaiden Guhle are not on the ice for the morning practice at the Bell Centre." - J-F Chaumont
This is not the development we wanted to have this morning, but it will be a situation to monitor in the coming days.
So here are the defensive pairs:
Matheson-Savard
Harris-Kovacevic
Edmundson-Wideman
Chris Wideman is finally back in the lineup.
